Once again, Hade Edge played at the Durham Miners Gala. We first arrived in Sacriston village and first played the the mining hymn Gresford in tribute to all the colliery workers who have lost their lives.

After a brief march to our coaches, we will all then departed for the main Miners Gala in Durham City Centre.

For the rest of the day, we then paraded through the city centre with the Sacriston villagers and their miners’ banner alongside nearly 100 other bands and mining villages.
