Hade Edge Band’s ambition is to return to the first section as soon as possible – hopefully at next year’s Yorkshire Areas Contest!

We have a fantastic core team of players who perform in all our local events in support of our community throughout the year. However, contesting is also an important part of our band’s heritage and we need to ensure that as well as having players for our local events and activities, we also have players who enjoy and relish competitive playing and contests. Our current vacancies are listed below:

We have a great team of front and back row cornets but we need more and we’re now searching for new cornet players who are looking for a new challenge!

Percussion – Tuned and Timps!

Some of the members of our percussion team have recently moved on to new challenges and so we have exciting vacancies for timps and tuned percussion players. The band offers the chance for percussion players to have access to a fantastic and wide range of percussion kit and our music repertoire includes everything from modern progressive tunes through to the traditional brass band classics you’d expect.
