We’re very sad to announce that our MD Derek Renshaw has taken the decision to return to his well deserved retirement following this year’s Yorkshire Area Championships. The good news is that Derek is continuing to work with the band preparing for the upcoming contest and is happy to remain in post with the band until a replacement musical director is appointed.
Derek’s departure marks the end of a standout chapter for our band and we remain immensely grateful for the dedication and artistry he brought to every rehearsal and performance. We now look forward to one final, focused push toward the Areas, celebrating a partnership that has truly hit all the right notes!
