Congratulations to all the players who competed in the above contest on Sunday 21st May . B Band performance was brilliant under the directorship of Gary Perrin. The B band coming 3rd in the hymn turn and 2nd in the Test piece taking the Holme Valley Cup. The Senior Band under the directorship of Jonathan Beatty came 1st in the Test Piece and 3rd in the Hymn Tune. Solo awards went to our Flugel player – Joel Kirk and Euphonium player, David Smith with our Bass section consisting of 4 player won the best BASS’s award of the contest.
